Itinerary

Day 1:Arrival in Casablanca

Your first day of Morocco Tours from Casablanca, during your 12 days of tours from Casablnaca will start with an early pick up at the airport or at your accommodation in Casablanca. Casablanca is the economic and cultural center of Morocco as well as its largest city. First, we will go to the Hassan II Mosque, the largest mosque in Morocco. Day 2 :Casablanca - Rabat capital - Chefchaouen

After breakfast, we will travel along the coast to Rabat. The city is the current capital of Morocco and one of the imperial cities. It is located in the northwest of Morocco. We will see the highlights of the city, such as the Hassan Tower and the Mausoleum of Mohammed V. Also included is the Kasbah of Oudaya. Lunch break. In the afternoon, we will drive north through Ouazzane to Chefchaouen, the Blue City. The city is nestled in the Rif Mountains and is known for its blue painted houses and narrow streets. Finally, we will spend the night in a motel.

Day 3:Visit to Chefchaouen, the blue city

We will visit Chefchaouen, the blue city, after breakfast. Achaoun is another name for horns in Berber. The city is located in the northwest of Morocco, in the Rif mountain range. It is known for its white and blue painted houses and alleys. First, we will take a tour of its picturesque old Medina. It has a lot of beautiful royal blue doors and whitewashed walls. Lunch is on the house. In the afternoon, you can stroll to the Spanish Mosque. Situated on a hill with a beautiful view of the whole blue city. Finally, return to your hotel. Day 4:Chefchaouen - Roman ruins of Volubilis- Meknes - Fez

Feel free to explore the picturesque alleys of the blue city of Chefchaouen after breakfast. We will then travel to Volubilis to visit the ancient Roman ruins. As a UNESCO World Heritage Site, it has been meticulously preserved. It has magnificent mosaics throughout, as well as ancient pillars and arches. After exploring the ruins, we will drive 30 km to Meknes. This city is both the Ismaili capital and one of the imperial cities. Day 5:Guided tour of Fez

No wonder Morocco refers to it as “Switzerland”. We will then travel to the cedar forest, home of the Barbary macaques. Feel free to feed them as you explore the forest. We will then drive to Midelt, where we will have free time for lunch. Then we will take the Tizi-n-Tilghmt pass and the Ziz valley to Merzouga. With stops to enjoy spectacular views.
We will arrive in the afternoon in the Sahara desert of Merzouga. Then, you will ride a camel through the arid landscape. Afterwards, you will stop at the top of a dune to watch the sunset. Finally, you will head to the bivouac. Where you will listen to Berber drum music while dancing around a bonfire under a starry sky. Dinner and overnight at the camp.

Day 7 :Exploring the Merzouga region - Nomads - Khamlia - Merzouga lake - Erg Chebbi - palm grove

To enjoy the beautiful sunrise in the middle of the desert, you have to get up early. Breakfast and return by camel to Merzouga, where the driver awaits you. The seventh day of your 12-day circuit from Casablanca begins with an exploration of the Merzouga region. Other beautiful features of the area include dunes, natural lakes, mines and impressive oases worth exploring.
To begin our excursion in Merzouga, we will drive off-road to an old delineator mine. We will then visit the nomads in their hand-woven tent. The village of Khamlia is our next stop. Khamlia is famous for its Gnaoua music and dance performances. Most of its inhabitants come from sub-Saharan African nations such as Mali, Sudan and Niger. Time for lunch and then we will take a walk through a palm forest. Then we will travel a few kilometers to visit the wild lake of Merzouga. Dinner and overnight in a hotel.

Day 8:Merzouga Sahara - Rissani - Erfoud - Todra Gorges - Dades Valley

After breakfast, we leave the desert to visit the city of Rissani, former capital of Tafilalet. Rissani is still an important commercial center of the region, with a large souk lively on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays.
After strolling through the souk of Rissani, we will head to Erfoud after touring around Rissani to see one of the fossilized marble quarries. We will then travel to the Todra Gorges passing through the palm groves of Touroug and Tinjdad. The Todra River cut a vast canyon through the mountains, leaving behind high red cliff walls. Climbers will love these gorges. Feel free to explore the gorges and enjoy the scenery. Free time for lunch. We will then head to the Dades valley, passing through Boumalne Dades. It is difficult not to stop at the rock formation of the “monkey fingers”. Finally, dinner and overnight in Dades.

Day 9:Dades Valley - Ouarzazate Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou - High Atlas - Marrakech

We continue to Kalaa Magouna to visit the Valley of the Roses. In May is held annually a festival of the rose. Where the locals offer their rose products, from perfumes, rose water and rose oil to cosmetic products. Then we drive along several Kasbahs, including the Kasbah of Amridil, surrounded by the palm grove of Skoura.
