Your first day of Morocco Tours from Casablanca, during your 12 days of tours from Casablnaca will start with an early pick up at the airport or at your accommodation in Casablanca. Casablanca is the economic and cultural center of Morocco as well as its largest city. First, we will go to the Hassan II Mosque, the largest mosque in Morocco. It is located on a peninsula on the west coast of the city, overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. Lunch break. Then city tour and visit to the famous Casablanca Corniche. Overnight in a hotel.
After breakfast, we will travel along the coast to Rabat. The city is the current capital of Morocco and one of the imperial cities. It is located in the northwest of Morocco. We will see the highlights of the city, such as the Hassan Tower and the Mausoleum of Mohammed V. Also included is the Kasbah of Oudaya. Lunch break. In the afternoon, we will drive north through Ouazzane to Chefchaouen, the Blue City. The city is nestled in the Rif Mountains and is known for its blue painted houses and narrow streets. We will visit Chefchaouen, the blue city, after breakfast. Achaoun is another name for horns in Berber. The city is located in the northwest of Morocco, in the Rif mountain range. It is known for its white and blue painted houses and alleys. First, we will take a tour of its picturesque old Medina. It has a lot of beautiful royal blue doors and whitewashed walls. Lunch is on the house. In the afternoon, you can stroll to the Spanish Mosque. Situated on a hill with a beautiful view of the whole blue city. Finally, return to your hotel. We will arrive in the afternoon in the Sahara desert of Merzouga. Then, you will ride a camel through the arid landscape. Afterwards, you will stop at the top of a dune to watch the sunset. To enjoy the beautiful sunrise in the middle of the desert, you have to get up early. Breakfast and return by camel to Merzouga, where the driver awaits you. To begin our excursion in Merzouga, we will drive off-road to an old delineator mine. We will then visit the nomads in their hand-woven tent. The village of Khamlia is our next stop. After strolling through the souk of Rissani, we will head to Erfoud after touring around Rissani to see one of the fossilized marble quarries. We will then travel to the Todra Gorges passing through the palm groves of Touroug and Tinjdad. The Todra River cut a vast canyon through the mountains, leaving behind high red cliff walls. Climbers will love these gorges. Feel free to explore the gorges and enjoy the scenery. Free time for lunch. We will then head to the Dades valley, passing through Boumalne Dades. It is difficult not to stop at the rock formation of the “monkey fingers”. Finally, dinner and overnight in Dades.
We continue to Kalaa Magouna to visit the Valley of the Roses. In May is held annually a festival of the rose.
